Your home in Alto Tajo Natural Park
Popularly known as "The Roman Bridge." It is located one kilometer south of the town center. To get to it, take the path from Plaza Nueva.
No other evidence of Roman colonization has been found in Zaorejas.
The aqueduct used to be 12 meters tall and had a single eye under which a Roman road used to pass.
Ruta de los gancheros
The "gancheros" were people who developed a trade, already disappeared, in the Tajo´s waters: the transport of logs through the river to take them from the place where they were cut to the sawmills located hundreds of kilometers away.
Sima de Alcorón
The chasm is surrounded by a wooden fence, with picnic and barbecue area.
It is adapted for access on foot by two hundred and seven steps and a railing.
The large entrance lets in daylight to almost the entire cavity, although for greater comfort and to appreciate the water of the bottom of the chasm it is recommended to enter with flashlights.
